One of the rewards of living in Jefferson County is the ability to shop local and buy from local farmers. The taste of a juicy local tomato has no comparison. The experience of a mid-morning stroll in downtown Dandridge, sipping coffee, talking with neighbors and meeting a friend for lunch is like a mini-vacation.
Visit the Dandridge Farmer’s Market any Saturday between now and Fall (when it gets too cold to enjoy). The market opens at 8 AM and closes just in time for lunch at noon.
The location is on the corner of Gay Street and Meeting Street / Hwy. 92 and US 25/70.
The Dandridge Farmer’s Market is in part funded by an agreement with the Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture and sponsored by Dandridge Community Trust, Farm Credit Services, Farm Bureau, Jefferson Farmer’s cooperative, The University of Tennessee Extension and the the Town of Dandridge.
